We’re part of a statewide network of coalitions with prevention efforts focused in Kent and South Counties. We build local partnerships to deliver evidence-based interventions targeting:
- Alcohol
- Cannabis
- Tobacco/nicotine
- Opioids
- Prescription medication misuse
- Emerging substance use trends

Programs, Tools and Resources
We provide a wide spectrum of support services that nurture a culture of equity and wellbeing—and empower people to be and do their best at school, at work, and in their communities.
Local Partnerships
In addition to facilitating monthly regional meetings for South and Kent Counties, we partner with community leaders and organizations to support:
- Advocacy groups
- Individual municipal coalition meetings
- Prevention networking events
Education
Our evidence-based interventions address a wide range of prevention subjects, including media literacy, responsible beverage service, prescription medication safety, parenting, and professional development.
Substance-Free Alternatives
We provide a range of after-school activities and opportunities that offer young people a variety of ways to build self-esteem, connect with peers, and lower the risk of substance use later in life.
Community Resource Sharing
We offer a variety of community resources, including:
- Community outreach
- Public service campaigns
- Social media
- Newsletters
Environmental Approaches
We collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and businesses, provide medication safety lock bags, and create local substance prevention signage.
